CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION 

The event is open to all citizens to participate.
Registration can be done online or via a registration form and is binding. Unless otherwise stated in the event description, you will receive a binding confirmation of your registration from us no later than 10 days before the start of the event.



During the event, video and audio recordings may be made for documentation purposes. By participating, participants agree that they may be featured in such broadcasts, video recordings or photographs that are also intended for publication on the Internet.



In the event of fewer than 10 registrations or force majeure, we reserve the right to cancel the event. We will inform you about this as soon as possible. Any payments made will be refunded to you immediately.

If the event is chargeable, the participation fee is due as soon as you have received the binding confirmation or invoice sent by us. If 'cash payment at the event location' was indicated when registering, the amount is of course only due at the start of the event. If you have registered with a reduced entry fee, please bring proof to the event or  (preferred) email it at least two business days in advance to secretary@vlaamseclub.be .  Unless stated otherwise, the reduced participation rate applies to pupils, students (up to 30 years), trainees and the unemployed.



For paying events spread over several days, the following cancellation policy applies (unless a different policy is stated in the invitation): you can cancel your registration free of charge up to 20 days before the start of the event. If you cancel your booking up to 5 days before the start of the event, 50% of the registration amount is due. No refund will be provided in the event of a later cancellation or no-show. You can appoint a replacement participant: there are no costs involved.



The following arrangement applies to one-day paying events (unless a different arrangement is stated in the invitation): you can cancel your registration free of charge up to 3 days before the start of the event. No refund will be provided in the event of a later cancellation or no-show. You can appoint a replacement participant: there are no costs involved.

For organizational reasons, we ask that you strictly follow the payment arrangement as stated upon registration.  It is possible that only cash payments are accepted for certain events.  In such cases we would like to urge you to pay appropriately.


No rights can be derived from this general arrangement.  In the event of a dispute, only the Dutch-speaking Brussels courts have jurisdiction.
